Show Low Pines: A Geologist’s Dream! 2.16 Acres Off-Grid and Easy Road Access

Show Low Pines, AZ: A Geologist's Dream! 2.16 Acres Off-Grid and Easy Road Access

- Arizona

This is a 2.16 acre parcel of land in Northern Arizona, 17 miles outside of Show Low, AZ. The property features beautiful East-facing views, as well as easy road access. Although it is in an “Off Grid” area, it is 5 miles away from the Stanford General Store and gas station (now have live music and bar on the weekends), and brand new Dollar Store as well as a laundromat and showers. Show Low has an airport that has two round trip flights a day to Phoenix Sky Harbor via Boutique Airlines and rental vehicles available at Enterprise Rent a Car and the Ford and Toyota dealers in Show Low.
Here is a 360 degree panorama of the property.

The land is rocky, with some beautiful formations (pictured below) and geodes to be found. An unimproved two track road is on the western edge of the property. See PDF Drone Map

There are shaggy bark pine trees on the property, which are very hardy and highly valued for long burn time. There are also some small Pinyon trees and plenty of downed wood for burning.   The subdivision has a community well for water access. The trailer pictured is on the neighboring property, and appears to be abandoned.

Nearby features include Petrified National Forest, White Mountains, Apache Sitgreaves National Forest, White Mountain Lake, Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, and Sunrise Ski Park Resort. This region is known as a world renown Elk hunting area.  Hunters from all over the world visit to hunt and some fly in on private jets.

I have seen Elk, Deer and Pronghorn Antelope tracks on the property.
