Many people believe that sparklers belong in the “safe and sane” category. But, did you know that the tip of a sparkler burns at 14,000 degrees? A burn on the face of a child can leave a scar for life. More than 50% of the children burned are under the age of five! This free, non-profit short video clip explains why sparklers are just as dangerous to a young person as any other type of firework device. Produced pro-bono by David and Cameron Barrett, this short video is informative and should be shared by everyone.
